Bag Filter for Coal Washing Equipment

      The bag filter is a common dust removal equipment, widely used by most manufacturing plants. Externally, the bag filter primarily consists of the entire housing and the ash hopper. The housing is equipped with a fan, an unloader, and an ash discharge valve. The housing is generally divided into three parts: the upper housing, the middle housing, and the lower housing. There is a specially designed maintenance opening on the housing for inspection and repair.

      The main components of the bag filter also include the filter bags and the filter cages. The filter bags and filter cages form the core internal structure of the bag filter. The filter cages support the filter bags, which capture and filter dust as it enters the equipment, thereby separating dust from the gas.

      The working principle of the bag filter involves dusty airflow entering the cylindrical filter bags through the lower perforated plate. As the air passes through the pores of the filter material, dust is captured on the surface, while clean gas passes through and is discharged from the outlet. The dust accumulated on the filter material can be dislodged by mechanical vibration and falls into the ash hopper. Bag filters have long been widely used in various industrial sectors to capture non-adhesive, non-fibrous industrial dust and volatiles, with the ability to capture dust particles as small as 0.1 microns.
