Using low-carbon steel wire processed through a hot-dip galvanizing technique (zinc layer thickness ≥80μm, salt spray test ≥1000 hours) to form an anti-rust framework, the surface can be coated with a 0.7-1.2mm thick PE/PVC plastic layer to further enhance weather resistance. Cold-galvanized gabion mesh has a zinc layer of only 10-30μm and a salt spray test ≤48 hours, making it suitable for temporary scenarios. Stainless steel gabion mesh (material 201/304) requires no surface treatment, offers stronger corrosion resistance, and is suitable for high-humidity or chemical environments. Bidirectional bending forms diamond-shaped mesh openings (aperture 15-200mm), providing significant elastic deformation capability. A 2.5mm wire diameter product can withstand a static load of 2000N, buffering external impact forces. Verified through a drop hammer test (1.5kg hammer free-falling from a height of 1.5 meters), the mesh shows no fractures or permanent deformation, complying with the GB/T 26941.1-2011 standard.
